Hi all. If I purchased an xm radio, how accessible is the activation? Can a totally blind person do it or will they need sighted assistants.

Troy I did this 2 years ago and the only problem is you need to ask someone to read the id of the receiver which can be found on the box or by going to channel 0. AS far as doing the actual actavation over the web I encountered no problems. It takes about 15 minutes for the unit to be activated and your good to go.

And, if I'm not mistaken, you can just ask whoever you buy it from to read you the ID number. Then just call the number, and the rest is simple.
